I decided to become a lawyer because I enjoy the working and helping people solve their problems when they are confronted by a roadblock on an issue. My previous experience at the New York State Attorney General’s office is where I gained first-hand experience working with attorneys and helping finding critical answer for the clients. It was at this moment that I decided that I wanted to help others who were in need. LatinoJustice PRLDEF’s creed carries the same objective as I have, to serve as the microphone so we can amplify the legal issues and injustice against the Latino Community that go unheard. My experiences as an advocate, assisting clients in clinics, have armed me with the skills to carry out this mission for the Latino Community and to join the struggle for a more equitable society.
