Criminal, Family, & Traffic Attorney
I always knew that I wanted to work in an environment where I could give a voice to disenfranchised and underrepresented people. For a long time, I knew that end goal, but I didn’t know the means to get there. I am passionate about a lot of issues. For example, I care about anti-human trafficking initiatives, combating sex slavery, the feminist movement, and the non-GMO movement. When I thought about jobs where I could help people who face serious issues, I realized that law would be a good option. The pursuit of justice has always been at the root of my passions, so it was a perfect fit to go into law. Before I went to law school, I lived in Manhattan for three years. There, I worked as a legal assistant at a large law firm. I realized that I loved the field of law, but I wanted more. So, I decided to go to law school and become a lawyer. After I finished law school, I went to work for a few different law firms. But, I never completely felt like I fit in with the teams that I worked with. Then I found Ruane Attorneys, and their philosophy of working hard to help clients, their strong leadership, and the employee teamwork really spoke to me. I haven’t looked back since! My favorite part about practicing law is interacting with clients and using my legal education to help make a positive difference in people’s lives. I’m grateful that I get to do that at Ruane Attorneys. When I’m not in the office, I love to travel, hang out with my dogs, spend time with family and friends, and spend time at the beach.
