Morris S. Bauer has represented debtors, creditor committees, banks, trade creditors and landlords in Chapter 11 proceedings, and is a bankruptcy mediator. The Chapter 11 representative businesses include a multi-state non-profit behavioral and mental health care facility, a regional supermarket chain, a national distributor of electronics, residential developers and income producing property owners, construction contractors, small businesses, and restaurants. Representation of creditor committees included a mail distributor, concrete manufacturer, retail chains and tech companies. Mo has also been appointed by the Court as a chapter 11 trustee, a liquidating trustee, an assignee for the benefit of creditors, and a bankruptcy mediator.new ye In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Mo represents banks, equipment lessors, and one of the largest utility providers in commercial foreclosure and commercial collection matters. Mo has served as an instructor for the New Jersey Skills and Methods Course and the New Jersey Bankruptcy Inn of Court, and has lectured as a panelist for the annual New Jersey Bankruptcy Bench-Bar Conference and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mo has also been involved in a number of civic activities. He is board member of Team for Kids Foundation, Inc., a non-profit that provides funding for children of low income families to play team sports. He is Vice-Chairman of the Washington Township, Morris County Zoning Board of Adjustments. He served as a member of the Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey Economic Development Committee from 1996 to 2003, and was President of the Jewish Center of Northwest Jersey.
