Employment & Commercial Litigation Attorney

Nicholas A. Duston focuses on complex commercial, employment, and construction litigation matters before federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey. This includes accusations of fraud, fiduciary breach, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, and theft of corporate opportunities made by or against officers, directors, and owners of public and private businesses. Nick has handled litigation related to all manner of fiduciary duties, arising from both traditional corporate, partnership, and LLC disputes as well as the duties of asset managers, financial advisors, trustees, executors, and ERISA fiduciaries. Nick’s practice also includes the conduct of internal investigations and the defense of white collar criminal matters. Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, Nick was a commercial litigation associate in the white collar investigation and litigation practice group of Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP in New York City. At Columbia University School of Law, he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, a member of the Columbia Journal of European Law, and I in the Non-Profit Organizations/ Small Business Clinic.
