Bankrupcy and Debt
Olya Antle focuses her practice on bankruptcy and immigration law. As a member of the firm’s Restructuring and Bankruptcy Litigation practice group, Ms. Antle represents creditors, creditors’ committees, creditors’ committee members, and trustees in commercial and consumer bankruptcy contexts. Ms. Antle also represents clients in commercial litigation matters. Through her practice of immigration law, Ms. Antle assists immigrants, their families, and businesses employing foreign nationals with meeting legal compliance with the U.S. immigration laws. Ms. Antle’s services include preparation and processing of family- and employment-based petitions, applications for investor and specialty visas, as well as applications for naturalization. Ms. Antle previously represented financially distressed businesses and individuals and facilitated their reorganization through debt restructuring, bankruptcy proceedings under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, and tax workouts. In law school, Ms. Antle served as an Executive Articles Editor for the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law and was a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Immigration Law. Ms. Antle also volunteered at the New England School of Law Center for Law and Social Responsibility, where she worked on the Human Rights and Immigration Law Project, helping individuals seek asylum in the United States. Ms. Antle received her undergraduate degree in Economics and Music Performance (Piano) with Summa Cum Laude honors from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College located in Lynchburg, Virginia, where she also pursued a minor in Spanish language. Originally from Ukraine, Ms. Antle came to the United States at the age of 15 as an exchange student through the U.S. Department of State’s Future Leaders Exchange program. Ms. Antle is a proud Ukrainian-American dedicated to promoting international partnerships through her involvement with organizations such as the Tidewater Ukrainian Cultural Association and Chesapeake Sister Cities.
