Mrs. Harris' passion for the law also extends to legal education. She taught business, criminal, and paralegal courses for Keiser University (West Palm Beach, Florida) and Administrative Law for Florida Coastal School of Law (Jacksonville, Florida). Mrs. Harris is a native of Gainesville, Florida and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1995. She then matriculated through Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 1999; she is proud of her family’s Rattler Legacy. Mrs. Harris then attended Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida and received her Juris Doctor degree in 2002. During her tenure at Florida State, Mrs. Harris had the opportunity to study abroad at Oxford University in England. Walls Bar Association, and several local civic organizations. She is a current Alachua County Planning Commissioner. She also serves as a liaison for the Florida Bar voluntary bar associations. Mrs. Harris' passion for the law stems from her first-hand awareness of the lack of community resources devoted to low-income communities. Via her education and volunteer efforts, she has had the unique opportunity to not only provide needed legal services, but to also educate the community. She loves the Lord and puts Him first in all of her endeavors. Mrs. Harris welcomes the opportunity to further serve and provide quality services to her community.
