Symone Redwine has a history of commitment to improving life in Dallas County. After receiving a stellar educational foundation from Bishop Dunne Catholic School, she earned a full scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh at age 16. She majored in finance, studied and interned in London, and completed Inroads internships with Fortune 500 companies before graduating with high honors. As a Miriam K. Dye Scholarship recipient at Cornell Law School, Symone concentrated her studies on criminal defense and real estate law. After graduating from Cornell, Symone became licensed in New York and New Jersey where she practiced fashion and intellectual property law, representing international fashion brands. She also fulfilled her ongoing passion to address injustice by providing pro bono criminal defense legal services to defendants through Senator Cory Booker’s ex-offender re-entry program in Newark, NJ. In 2012, Ms. Redwine opened The Redwine Law Firm, PLLC with her long- standing mentor and aunt, Glynis Redwine. In private practice Ms. Redwine continues her commitment to social justice, expunging and sealing ex-offender’s criminal records and represents clients in real estate, consumer debt, small business and injury and death cases. Symone has become known as an expungement guru, obtaining Orders of Expunction and Non-Disclosure for clients frequently rejected by other firms. In 2017 Symone launched a cutting-edge expungement division of her firm “My Record is Clean” which focuses on expunging and sealing Texas criminal records.
